Touch Art

From November 9th to December 8th, 2024, the exhibition “Touch Art – The Expression of Empathy” will take place at the Centro Brasileiro Britânico (British-Brazilian Center) in São Paulo.

The exhibition brings together works by 21 artists, where the audience can interact with the works, in a unique and immersive experience through touch. The aim of the exhibition is to positively influence the lives of people with disabilities, raise public awareness of their needs and contribute to measures that promote accessibility and equal opportunities.

Our Brazilian mouth and foot painters Daniel Rodrigo Ferreira da Silva, Domingos Dupé Ferreira Silva, Gonçalo Borges, Maria Goret Chagas, Ivana Bandeira, Jefferson Maia Figueira, Marcelo Cunha, Marcos Paulo Silva Machado, Victor Pereia Santos and Eusuclemia Vieira took part in the opening event and together created a picture for the exhibition.

Additionally, pictures by Aline Korb, Bárbara Corrêa, Carlos Eduardo Fraga, Eliana Zagui, Ivanildo Gomes, Luciano Alves, Rita Boz, Robson Suniga and Rose Orth were also exhibited.
