In October 2019, the UK publishing house launched a magical new children’s book.called Danny’s Dream. The story is about a young boy who has dreams of becoming an Olympic champion athlete but a tragic accident dramatically changes his life.
The book was illustrated by UK artist Ian Parker, working with author, Victor Margiotta. Incorporating 34 charming images, the illustrations took Ian nearly 2 years produce and resulted in a book that achieved critical acclaim across a wide range of media e.g. television (including BBC) national and regional print, radio, children’s book bloggers and social media.
The launch event was held at Kidzania in London, the specialised ‘children’s city’, designed to engage young people with commercial work and leisure activities. Following a short book reading, the children were then invited to try out foot drawing for themselves, guided by UK artist Tom Yendell.
