Rabenu Kobi

Kobi Rebenu was born on 6 September 1961 in Tel Aviv. At the age of 26 he became involved in hang-gliding. In 1991 he founded a hang-gliding school and became the leading athlete in this field in Israel, competing in many hang-gliding events around the world, where he won several awards and prizes. In July 1993 he had a hang-gliding accident and became a quadriplegic. In 1999 he made the first attempts at mouthpainting and from then on developed his skills. Autodidact.
