Ostalowski Bartosz was born on 19 July 1986 in Nowy Sacz in Poland. On 5 August 2006 he suffered such grave injuries in a motorbike accident that both his arms had to be amputated. Since 9 November 2006 he has been receiving therapy for his limbs at the rehabilitation centre in Cracow. He paints using his mouth and his feet.
