Franco Arrieta Nestor Luis

Nestor Luis Franco Arrieta was born on 14 September 1967 in Roncesvalles (Tol), Colombia.  He attended primary school at the school centre "The Voice of the Earth", Roncesvalles, Tolima and the Panamerican grammar school in Ibagué. Due to an injury to the cervical spine- a trauma of the cervical vertebrae - at the C5 vertebra, he suffers from spastic tetraplegia and neurogenic sphincter muscles. Among other things, he is unable to move arms or legs. In October 2009 he decided to try mouth painting to pass the time. Nestor Luis Franco Arrieta enjoyed it very much and has been taking regular art lessons with Carlos Parra, a widely known art teacher. His paintings done in oils reveal remarkable talent.
