Espinosa Frank

Frank Espinosa was born on 11 June 1972 in West Covina, California. He completed his school education up to the 10th grade of high school. He was already a member of a gang as a young boy and, at the age of 18, was shot in the forehead and in the nape of the neck by a member of a rival gang, due to which he contracted tetraplegia (C5-C6 tetraplegia). As Frank had always loved art, in 2007 he decided to draw and paint with a pen in his mouth. At first, he painted dedicatedly for six months, but then stopped for four years due to serious health problems. He finally got back into mouth painting again a short time ago and is now determined to further improve the artistic techniques he has already acquired. His favourite painting materials are felt pens. Pictures of people and flowers are some of his favourite motifs.
