Azar Shemesh Ronit

Ronit Azar Shemesh was born on 21 October 1965 in Ramat, Israel. She was born with cerebral palsy and is therefore unable to use arms or legs. From 1971 to 1981 she attended the 'ON' school for special education, as well as primary and secondary school. At the age of 30 Ronit Azar Shemesh discovered that it was possible to paint with the mouth. She came to enjoy it very much. From 2007 to 2009 she took painting lessons with the well-known artist Dita Goldstein. Flowers in all colours and variations are among the artist's painting repertoire.
