The artists’ meeting 2020 was organized in Bengaluru. The three-day event (February 21, 2020 – February 23, 2020) was extremely productive for the Indian artists. 17 Indian artists from different states and their families were present. Everyone was enthusiastic and the presence of Tom Yendell provided additional motivation for the artists.
On the first day an art workshop was held under the direction of Namitaa, an artist from Bengaluru. The aim of this event was to learn something new that the artists had not tried before.
On February 22nd, the exhibition and live painting demonstrations took place at the Karnataka Chithrakala Parishath, one of the most famous art institutions in the state. Over 50 paintings were exhibited and 17 artists gave painting demonstrations.
On the last day, three catogory awards (India Excellence Awards) were initiated for artists who performed well during the year. Overall, the event was a great success. The artists were able to meet and learn new things. It was perfect to prepare all artists for another creative and productive year.
