French mouth and foot painters had the honour of exhibiting their works at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg from 22 to 26 October 2019.
Charming, exciting, extraordinary – these are just some of the adjectives heard during the exhibition. “The possibility of organizing an exhibition of our paintings in such a place is associated with deep gratitude,” said Serge Maudet, President of the worldwide Association of Mouth and Foot Painting Artists.
The exhibition attracted visitors from all over the world, including groups of visitors organized by the Council of Europe and numerous presidents and delegates attending the parallel Parliamentary Assembly. Around a hundred works were presented, and for many of the visitors it was the first time they had seen mouth- or foot-painted pictures.
The inauguration took place in the presence of Ms Bruntz, representative of the Council of Europe. During the week, the French artists held numerous painting demonstrations.
To thank the Council of Europe for organizing this exhibition, the mouth painter Arnaud Dubarre dedicated one of his original works.
