In the run-up to the Paralympic Games in Paris, the grand opening of the multimedia exhibition “Art and Sport” took place on August 24, 2024 at 7 p.m. at the Serbian Cultural Center in Paris.
The aim of this project was to promote the creative potential and creativity of people with disabilities. Their skills, talent and artistic work were presented through an exhibition of paintings and photographs with motifs of sports and athletes who participated in the Paralympic Games, as well as through media content.
The main sponsor and participant of the exhibition opening was Dejana Bačko, VDMFK Scholarship Holder and Para-Ekwondo World Champion.
During the exhibition opening, Dejana painted the universal sign language symbol “I love you” and the sign of the Paralympics on a large canvas in her competition kimono. Many visitors and many influential people from the Paralympic Committee, athletes and the Serbian ambassador were present at the opening of the exhibition.
The exhibition can be visited until September 20, 2024.
